Rediscover the dishes of yesteryear, two steps from the city center


Revisiting the cuisine of the past, in a meticulous, mountain style setting: a table in the farmhouse promises traditional, mountain cuisine, a carousel of desserts in the centre of the restaurant, and favourite house wines.

The impressive profile of an old farmhouse on the edge of the gardens facing the Mont Blanc invites you to discover an old wood interior. The dishes list invites you to sit down to know more : homemade black pudding, Garden herbs salad, Rack of lamb roasted in the open fire, fillet of Arctic char from Leman lake or pike dumplings with crayfish…. And for the cakes and pastries on the antique furniture in the center of the restaurant, how not to succumb!

Taste a local cuisine

Sitting on small, alpine chairs, under the old wooden panelling of this reconstructed Savoyard farm, you will discover our traditional restaurant’s local cuisine, served on gingham tablecloths. Go back in time to rediscover the dishes of yesteryear that our grandmothers made... dishes that spent hours simmering on the stove and that have now been reinvented by our chef Cedric Nogueira. This table has been awarded a "Bib Gourmand" by the Michelin Guide.   

The Hameau’s traditional restaurant pays tribute to Marcel Carrier's recipes, to local producers and heritage. Herens veal, cheese and fish from alpine lakes are well matched with garden salads, aromatic herbs, local vegetables and edible flowers.

Enhancing the flavours of a bygone era

From the Mont Blanc-facing terrace in summer or near the tall Savoyard fireplace in the winter, come and enjoy popular dishes such as: 

  • Tête de veau, in a seasoned sauce
  • Grilled pigs’ trotters
  • Chicken liver paté
  • Pike dumplings in a crayfish sauce
  • Piedmontese risotto
  • Pan-fried fera fish fillet

In the centre of the restaurant, racks of lamb and suckling pig are slowly spit-roasted in the open fire. In the smokehouse, cured hams, sausages and filets mignon are slowly smoked, before being dried, refined and served.

Of course, chef Cédric Nogueira has not forgotten to revisit some cheese specialities and bring back to life the taste of some classic desserts. A deliciously tasty cuisine that certainly triggers your memory as you relive the emotion of the exquisite flavours of Alpine cuisine from the past. This mark of praise to our ancestors’ cuisine culminates in an impressive dessert carousel and a gourmet coffee that is the perfect accompaniment to the homemade chocolates and biscuits.

Food and wine pairings

In the dining room, Romain will advise and serve you wines in accordance with your meal and taste, thanks to a selection of French grands crus, including some of the best winemakers’ regional, varietal wines.
