‘Casse-croûte’, being held in Chamonix, is a hybrid festival that celebrates gastronomy, wine, culture, nature, and the environment.
It is an event that reunites us around the themes of gastronomy, music, culture, and nature. It is meant to be a treat for the body, the heart, the mind, and not to forget the stomach! The event will last 5 days from Friday 28th of October 2022 to Tuesday 1st of November 2022 and you will have the opportunity to meet several chefs and taste their dishes.
Since the beginning of time, the sharing of food has always brought people together. ‘Casse-croûte’ attempts to create the same warmth and hospitality and this time, in the village of Chamonix. Although the main theme is food and all its flavors, the event takes the form of art such as pictures, debates, podcasts, games, concerts, workshops and much more.
The Maison Carrier, our traditional restaurant, is participating in the event. On Friday 28th of October, for the kick-off lunch of the festival, Cédric Nogueira has invited Nicolas Darnau Guilhem for a menu crafted together, around the theme of Bénichon, a traditional Fribourg festival. A nice, relaxed, ambience for convivial moments is what you can expect. Places are limited and reservations are required.
