The Chalet Grépon
Named after the granite peak that towers above it, the Chalet Grépon offers a snow-white haven of tranquillity, featuring a 45 m² double bedroom warmed by the flames of a wood-burning stove, a cabin-style alcove with a bunk bed for two children, and a bathroom with a spa bath and shower. The charm continues onto the private terrace, offering panoramic views of the Brévent and the Aiguilles Rouges.
Favouring a minimalist aesthetic, the very contemporary monochrome white interior highlights the use of beautiful materials such as bleached rough-sawn maple wood, Corian, and pure wool curtains. Designed by architect Bernard Ferrari, the Chalet Grépon bears his signature throughout, including in the design of certain furniture pieces created by local artisans: a carved wooden chest of drawers, grey metallic iron bedside tables… It also showcases creations by renowned designers such as Philippe Starck in the bathroom and Toshiyuki Kita for the armchairs. Contemporary artist Francis Olivier Brunet is the creator of the magnificent two-panel artwork “Les Aiguilles de Chamonix”. The elegant Chalet Grépon perfectly illustrates the timeless and highly original design choices that define Le Hameau Albert 1er.
Our chalet is thoughtfully appointed with carefully curated details, offering a unique and refined experience.
